Beef and Bean Burritos
The simplest version of a beef and bean burrito that only requires 4 ingredients! Sometimes, simple is best. These gluten free beef and bean burritos are grain-free, dairy-free and are incredibly satisfying.
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 10 minutes mins
Servings 8 8-10 small burritos, or 4-5 large burritos
- 8-10 almond flour tortillas
- 1 package preferred taco seasoning I love Siete taco seasoning as it is grain-free and made with wholesome ingredients
- 1 can refried pinto beans You can use the brand you prefer, but again, I use Siete brand.
- 1 lb ground beef
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through.
Then, add in your taco seasoning, along with a ¼ cup of water and stir until well mixed.
Wrap your tortillas in a damp paper towel and heat them in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds to help make them pliable.
Next, slather on some of the refried beans to the center of your tortilla (maybe about 2 tablespoon worth, or more if you are using a larger tortilla), then layer on a generous dollop of the ground beef, and wrap the tortilla up into a burrito.
I then like to crisp both sides of my burrito up on a griddle skillet or just a normal skillet to get them a little crispy. That’s it!
