The simplest version of a beef and bean burrito that only requires 4 ingredients! Sometimes, simple is best. These gluten free beef and bean burritos are grain-free, dairy-free and are incredibly satisfying.
The Story:
I mean this in the best way possible, these burritos remind me of something you’d buy from a gas station or the burritos that come from a bag in the freezer section. They taste indulgent, but are actually healthy! You know when you are just craving greasy, comforting food, these will satisfy that craving! These beef and bean burritos also freeze and reheat in the oven well, so they are a great meal prep idea for those nights that are on the go!

The Ingredients:
Here is the list of ingredients you will need to make these beef and bean burritos.
- Ground beef: Of course a “beef and bean” burrito needs beef!
- Almond Flour Tortillas: You can use any type of tortilla here, but I like Siete Almond Flour tortillas to keep these grain-free.
- Siete Taco Seasoning: Delicious, grain-free, paleo taco seasoning. The convenience of being able to open a packet of taco seasoning and knowing it suits my needs, is perfection.
- Siete Refried Pinto Beans: I love the flavor of these beans, as well as knowing there are no “weird” ingredients snuck in.
How to Make Beef and Bean Burritos:
This ranks as one of the easiest meals to cook.
- Step 1: Simply cook the ground beef until browned. Then, add in your taco seasoning, along with a ¼ cup of water and stir until well mixed.
- Step 2: Wrap your tortillas in a damp paper towel and heat them in the microwave for about 15 seconds to help make them pliable.
- Step 3: Next, slather on some of the refried beans to the center of the tortilla (maybe about 2 tablespoon worth, or more if you are using a larger tortilla), then layer on a dollop of the ground beef, next wrap the tortilla up into a burrito.
- Step 4: Lastly, I like to crisp mine up on a griddle skillet or just a normal skillet to get them a little crispy. Seriously delicious! That’s it!
