This easy mango salsa is a bright, mango based salsa that is perfect for the warmer months and compliments so many dishes!

Bright, sweet, and zesty, it's the perfect way to add a pop of flavor to any dish. Serve it with chips, grilled chicken, or fish, or enjoy it straight from the bowl. It’s simple, vibrant, and sure to be a favorite all season long!

This salsa is super easy to prepare!

  • Step 1: Mince the red onion and place it in a bowl. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top and let it sit for a few minutes to lightly pickle. This helps mellow the sharpness and soften the bite of the onion.
  • Step 2: Finely chop the mango and red pepper, and thinly slice the fresh cilantro.
  • Step 3: Add everything to the bowl, squeeze more lime juice over the top, and mix well until combined. Taste and adjust with salt as needed!

Can I make this with frozen mango?

You can if you can't get your hands on fresh mango! I find fresh mango to have a better texture. Frozen mango can have a soggy texture to it, which isn't great in salsa, but it will work if needed!
